Rainy Days!!!

It has been really rainy and gloomy here the past couple of days. I thought i'd show you how we have been passing the time.

Another trip to the pool

Well, we took another trip to the pool. I was in charge of getting us there because Rick was not with us the first time and he didnt know how to get there. The problem was that when i went we had one of the Japanese wives telling us what train to get on and what time to get on it. So, needless to say i got us a little lost. Well, not really lost. We were on the right train track we were just on a train that didnt stop at all the stops and most importantly not our stop. So we had to wait at a train station in the middle of nowhere for about 30 mins. that is not fun when you have kids that ask every 1 minute if our train is coming. Makes for very long half hour. so the pic of Rick and the kids looking less than amused is at the train station.....and they werent very happy with me. Oops!!! We finally made it to the pool and Rick and the kids had a great time. Just seeing Rick with a swim cap on made it completely worth it.

A trip to Toys R Us!

We went to Toys R Us today and each kid got to pick out 1 toy each...Annabelle picked out a babydoll with a carseat, Alan picked out a transformer and here is little Holly in her newest baby Bumbo seat. it is so stinkin cute to see her in it. The kids were cracking up.

Nothing New..

There is not much going on to write about. Rick is still on a road trip and it is raining here. I think "rainy season" has officially started. We have been hanging out inside.... passing the time by giving makeovers, playing gamecube, watching movies and reading books...YES reading books!!! LOL We went to the foreign bookstore and got some magazines (Us Weekly) for me and books for the kids. Other than that it is pretty quiet around here. Thank goodness for the slingbox or we would be really bored!! Having that has made everything a lot easier!!! Rick will be home Monday YEAH!!!!

Good Golly Miss Holly!!

Holly Paige is growing like a weed. She is so sweet and sooo good. She started out a little rough but she has calmed down and we have really started to know the happier side of Holly.

Having some summer fun!!!

We found a pool!!! the kids had a lot of fun at the pool today. It was an indoor pool...because heaven forbid you get a little sun. Anyways...they had a blast going down the curly slide. Don't they look adorable in their swim caps. The funniest thing is that when Rick takes them he has to wear one too. I will definitely take pics of that! Rick is on a 6 day Road trip to Osaka and Hiroshima. So the kids and i will be spending a lot of time at the park...with our super soaker water guns. The weather here has been wonderful. Much better than last year!! Ok... enjoy the pics!

Ricks fathers day celebration!

As you know we are a day ahead of you all. So we have already celebrated fathers day. Here are some cute pics of the family at dinner tonight. These were taken after Rick opened his gifts from the kids. Annabelle got him a leather bracelet, Alan got him 2 pair of boxers(one with skulls on them and the other with cars on them) and little Holly Paige got him socks. (ha ha) It was a a fun night! hope you all have a great day.

The beach...wish we were there!!!

Well...my family is at the beach right now. I hope you guys have a blast!! We really wish we were there with you!! Think of me when youn are drinking your bloody marys (brought to you by dad) on the beach. I cant wait to hear all the funny stories and see all of the great pics from the trip!! I will call soon!!! The stages of Holly!

Holly got a new toy. She loves it for about 15 minutes then she is done with it. It is sooo funny!! She starts out talking to the toy...then she smiles at it...then she ends with crying at it. It's the same thing every time. We just crack up.

We almost felt like we were at home!!!

Well, the new mall here in Sendai was great. We were pleasantly surprised. We almost felt like we were back in the good ol' USA!!! We ate at McDonalds...got coffee at Starbucks, stopped by Baskin Robins and hung out with Sylvester, Tweety and Bugs. What more could we ask for.

YEA!!! Its an off day!!!

We love off days. I think today we are going to a brand new mall. Hopefully there will be something fun for the kids to do there. The kids will love taking the train to the mall. Alan gets a kick out of the train. It is rainy and gloomy here today. No park or scooters today....bummer!! Holly is still doing fantastic. She is sleeping through the night. That is a good thing for the whole family!!! She really is a happy baby.

In case you are wondering...the picture of us standing in front of Ricks big mug is taken at the Sendai train station. They had the team plastered all over that place. FUNNY!!! A Japanese man saw me taking a pic of the kids in front of it and offered to take one of all of us.

TRIP TO TOKYO

Well, we got home from Tokyo yesterday. It was a fun trip. the kids and i were very busy. We went to the Shinagawa train station. There is lots to do there. we went on a pirate ship. Well at least Annabelle went on it. Alan is not tall enough yet. Poor Boobah!! He got to go on the dolphin merry go round. He loved it. We also saw a dolphin and a sealion show and we went bowling. It was fun. But it is good to back in Sendai. We are going to the grocery store today. Believe me it is an adventure. We are also going to the import store to get some more american food....yummy!!! I am sure we will get to the park sometime today. The kids love to ride their scooters to the park. ok we are off...see ya!!
