hey!

Hey...not much going on here. Holly has a little cold so that is sad. Alan went to his school to meet his teachers yesterday.. He knew both of them already from last years lunch bunch...They are Mrs. Gilbert and Mrs Byrkit. He played with some trucks while he was there. I think he will like school this year. At least i hope he does. Annabelles soccer team tied 1-1 yesterday. I missed some of the game because i was finally getting my hair cut. She did good...she needs to get in there and KICK the ball!!! She is doing great. Rick is going back to Japan on Sunday. No new news with his dad. Still just hoping that the blood thinners are working. It really is going to be a long hard recovery for him. Rick is very sad..but dealing with it the best he can.

The Comets soccer team in 2-0. We rock this year!!! Annabelle is doing great. She made a great kick on defense the other morning. She looked like a pro ...thanks to Aunt Abbies pointers!!!

Here are some pics of the first day of 2nd grade. It was a really great morning!!! Everyone got out of bed wonderfully. I'm sure that wont be the case next week..LOL The pic of Annabelle with the cute hat on was taken before she left for her high school musical slumber party. She looked really cute!!!

VERY LONG TRIP

Ok....i really dont like going on long a trip in the car with a 5 month old. She cried a lot in the car. She does good for about the first 30 minutes...but after that she is not happy. Funny story...we were on our way home tonight and both A & A had to potty and Holly was screaming from hungar...Alan looks at me with tears in his eyes and says he cant take it anymore and says i think i'm gonna throw up. He asked me if he could just potty in his pants and so i pulled over and whipped out a diaper...right when he pulled his pants down and before i could get the diaper out of my bag he let it loose. A little got on my arm and Annabelles foot. I'm pretty sure he pee'd for 5 mins...seriously!! I told him the diaper weighed 5 lbs!! We all got a good laugh!!

I KNOW I KNOW I HAVNT PUT THE PICS ON HERE YET. I REALLY AM GOING TO. THE KIDS AND I PUT HOLLYS CRIB TOGETHER YESTERDAY. IT WAS A TRUE FAMILY EFFORT. THE KIDS BOTH HELPED ME A LOT. ANNABELLE WAS HOLDING ONE END AND ALAN HELD THE OTHER WHILE I SCREWED IN THE SCREWS. WE WERE ALL SO PROUD OF IT WHEN IT WAS ALL TOGETHER. ANNABELLE HAS BEEN LOVING SOCCER THIS YEAR. i THINK SHE IS GOING TO LEARN A LOT MORE THIS YEAR. SHE LOOKS SO DARN CUTE OUT THERE ON THE FIELD. ALAN'S NEW GOAL IS TO BE A GENTLEMAN. HE CRACKS ME UP EVERYDAY. HE TOLD ME YESTERDAY I WAS A GORGEOUS FAMOUS PRINCESS. AND THEN HE SAID "IS THAT WAS A GENTLEMAN SAYS" SOOO SWEET. HOLLY IS JUST GETTING SWEETER AND SWEETER EVERY DAY. SHE REALLY IS A GREAT BABY. WE WERE AT KROGER THIS MORNING AND SHE WAS JUST TALKING AND SQUEELING THE WHOLE TIME. OK..THATS ALL FOR NOW. PROMISE THE PICS ARE COMING>

I'm baaaaaack!!!

hello...i know it has taken me a week to write...but so much to do around here after being away for 3 months. annabelle had her first day of 2nd grade today. she loved it. she loves her teacher..and best of all her best friend anna is in her class. i will post pics tonight afet holly goes nighty night.

Friends in Japan

The Decinces girls(Melissa & Delaney) visited us in Sendai last week. We had a great time. We shopped and just did a lot of people watching. You never know what you might see here. It is always so nice to see Melissa. Seeing her reminds me of the A and AA days of baseball..."the good 'ol days" Anyway, the kids had a great time together. Annabelle loved having a girl here to hang out with!!!

Here are some pics that i have taken lately. It has been about a week since i have updated. Ricks dad was in a very serious motorcyle accident. He underwent immediate brain surgery that lasted 3 hours. It was a very scarey night for all of us. He is doing much better now. He still has not woken up but has responded to the commands that the doctor has given him....such as hold up 2 fingers and stick your tongue out. He gave Rick a thumbs up when rick was talking to him the other night. We have been told that it is going to be a long and tough recovery. I know he will be out there on his boat catching lots of fish soon!!!
