A trip to the Illinois River!

I went with Alans class this morning to the river. It was a beautiful day for it. The kids had a good time. We saw some deer and lots of Geese. Holly was thankfully very good. I will post pics of the trip later.

The first dress!!! I just love it!! I let Annabelle pick and she loved that one. I am ordering it!!

I want Annabelle to wear one of these dresses for her Reconciliation. If it was up to her she would wear something sparkly and off the shoulder..LOL I am going to show these to her tomorrow. I will let you know what she think of them.

SO QUIET!!!

Jayne took the kids to Abbies soccer game in monmoth. They will be gone for a few hours. Holly is sleeping and i am getting a few quiet moments to myself. I thought it was a great opportunity to add some pics to the blog. We had a lot of fun last night hanging out with mom and dad and Jayne for a little bit. The kids always love it when people spend the night. I know i always sleep better when someone sleeps over. ok enjoy the new pictures.

just another day

not much going on today. For some reason i am sooo sleepy today. I kinda dont feel good too. Maybe i am getting a touch of the flu...YUCK!!! Hope not!! Went to a really fun store today in Junction City called random...it was cool. fun clothes. Got a cute pair of denim shorts...long ones. wanted to get Rick a shirt that said Pale is the new tan...they didnt have his size....bummer. His legs are the color of snow. LOL Anyway annabelle has play practice tonight...so alan is going over to tessies to play with emmit and i am taking anna and annabelle and of course HP to practice. Ok have a great night!!

what an exciting day!!

Both Annabelle and Alan rode their bikes today with no training wheels!!! They were so excited. I couldnt believe boobah did it. I just put him on...and off he went. Annabelle was soooo proud of herself! I told them that we are going to go to safety town this weekend!!! Yeah...sooo fun!!!

Annabelle has a game today and i will be taking some action shots. It has been really great because she rally has enjoyed playing this year. That might be because her team is pretty good this year. Last year her team only won 1 game...thats no fun. Anyway i will be posting later with some fun pics!!

I promise i am not full of myself and i know you would all rather see pics of my adorable(lol) kids but i wanted you all to know that i actually have hair under all the hats i have been wearing lately...Rick told me i am going to give myself a bald spot if i keep wearing hats every day. It is just so easy in the morning to throw a hat on. Oh believe me i will be sporting a hat every morning when i drop the kids off at school...but when i get home i will get gorg. (yeah right) Anyway, thats all.

Rick wants to see his beloved basement...here it is. The couch got delivered today. the guy comes tomorrow to put it back together. it is looking very nice!

The girls room

Well, here is the girls room. I am waiting for their rug...it is backordered. It should be here in a few weeks. I really love it..it kind of has a cottage feel. I think it is my fav room in the house right now. maybe because it is the cleanest LOL!!

Holly Ducky

Holly Paige, Alan, Annabelle, me and Aunt Abbie went to the mall today. We found the most adorable ducky costume there for liitle HP. We thought we would try it o her. And as we expected she looked adorable!!

slumber party

Annabelle had Olivia and Anna over to spend the night tonight. They had a lot of fun. They jumped on the bed ate popcorn..or should i say pread it all over the floor ...watched Hannah Montana and lots of other fun stuff. They are all sleeping together in the bed in the spare bedroom. They are cute and sweet girls. I loved sleeping over at my friends houses!!!

Not much going on. Annabelle team lost their first game today 1-0. Her and Anna were playing defense when it happened. I'm sure the coach learned that they cant be on defense together...i think there is a lot of chit chat going on! LOL Alan is still doing great at school...but he keeps asking me when the weekend starts....he's so funny. Holly Paige has decided that sleeping isnt important anymore. She was such a good sleeper while we were in Japan. Now she sleeps about 2 hours at a time. BOGUS!!! Right now she is screaming up in her bed...but there is nothing else i can do for her and it IS bed time. (10:23) I finished the girls bedroom. It is so cute. I am waiting for the pink and white polka dot rug ..then it will be complete. Next on the list is Boobah's room. When my shoulder heals i will do his room. Our basement is finally getting finished. The carpet is in and one of the chair and ottoman are down there. The sofa wouldnt fit down the stairs in one piece...so later next week they are going to deliver it in 3 pieces and assemble it here...hey whatever works. So all in all things are coming together. Now i would just like my husband to get home!! Ok..thats all for tonight.

Alan's first day of Jack and Jill

Alan started preschool today. Believe it or not he got off to a great start. He was excited to go and was actually happy to be there. When i picked him up at 11:30 he said his friend from last year John put his toys away and gave Alan a thumbs up so Alan gave him one back and told him he was his best friend. So sweet. Hope tomorrow goes as great!

Labor Day!

We had a good holiday weekend. Sunday mom and dad and Aunt JJ came over for a cookout. We had yummmmy food and lots of fun. We missed Aunt Abbie and the whole Lev crew. Monday the kids ran through the hose and laid out in the sun. They love doing that. All in all it was a fun and somewhat realaxing weekend!
