I am going to an fund raiser event in February. I thought this would be cute to wear to it...with some really cool heals?! Not sure if it is frumpy or not. I asked rick and he likes it! Let me know what you think!!!

day 3

Well...this is day # 3 with Annabelle Grace home with me. She is still running a temp and has a headache and still the wonderful green stuff in the nose...lovely!!! She is missing granparents day at school. It is a bummer because Rick is home this year and was going to get to go eat lunch with us and the grandparents...bummer! Oh well...maybe next year.

I think it is pretty darn cold outside today. I thought our house was going to blow away in the wind last night. I got up to use the bathroom last night...and i swear the toilet water was moving like the house was swaying. I kinda felt like i was in Japan and we were having an earthquake...weird. well...that is really all i have for now...have great Wednesday!!!

lazy Tuesday

Well.... Annabelle is home sick from school again. She didnt go yesterday either. She has a fever, headache, nasty green nose and the occasional belly ache. poor gra gra!!!

I am feeling good. the surgery went good and it was a fast one. my incision is bigger than i thought it was going to be. I'm not in much pain though...which is good. rick did a great job with the kids. It was kinda a blessing that Annabelle stayed home from school yesterday...she was a huge help to rick with Holly in the hospital.

Booba is doing great. He is healthy and has made it to school today...and really.. thats all i can ask for these days...lol. Have a great tuesday!!!

movie theater

The kids love to close all the shades and make the living room a movie theater. . It is so cold outside...so we decided to do just that. We popped popcorn and put lots of pillows and blankets on the couches and had a family movie afternoon. The feature presentation was Gameplan. It was really fun. I took some really cute pics of the kids before it started. ENJOY!

The girls had a great time at the party. Some of the girls did not go to sleep until 1:30. Luckily they slept in til 8:30. So we all got a little sleep ...which is very nice. Annabelle had a great party!!

TICK TOCK

Well...the slumber party is coming to a close. the parents are coming at 10 and it is 959. LOL It really went well...girls are so funny. Some of them want to do one thing but others dont want to do that. Some want to watch a movie and some dont like ANY of the movies we have. Mind you...we have about a million movies...they didnt like any of them!!! oh well...it all went great and the girls after a while really fell into a groove and got along wonderfully. At one pont Annabelle came up to me and told me that she is having a blast!! That makes it all worth it. I will have pics later today...hopefully.

snowy!!!

It is very cold and snowy out today!!! Probably not going to do much today. Holly and i are just hanging out waiting for our quarterly visit from the bug guy. Not sure many bugs are even alive right now...but still good to spray because we HATE BUGS!!!!!

Annabelle had a great b day. We went to Monicals for dinner last night. That was her pick. It as very yummy. We have slumber on Saturday. That will finalize all of the b day activities...phew!!! i'm sue i will be posting some party pics next week...have a good Thursday!!

Happy Birthday Annabelle!!

Wow.....8 years ago, little Annabelle Grace Short was born. 6 lbs 8 oz of LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! She is such a wonderful little girl. She has the sweetest heart of anybody i know. We enjoy everyday with her. Some days are a bit more challenging that others....but for the most part she melts us on a daily basis. We cant wait to see what the next year holds for little Annabelle.

It is hard to believe that Alan is 5. We had his kids party yesterday. We only invited 3 boys to the party. I think they all had fun. Right after the last little boy left ...Alan looked at Rick and said "dad can i have a real party now"? So funny. That kids cracks us up. I will post party pics soon!!

Thursday

Hey hey...not much going on here. Kids are at school. Rick is working out and me and HP are hangin out!! Well, I am officially in birthday mode. I think we are just having 3 of Alans friends over to have pizza and cake and some play time. I dont think Alan really cares what we do. Of course gonna have some Trefzgers cake...yummy. Not positive what we are doing for Miss Annabelles big day. She really wants a slumber party. I really dont want to have one...but you all know i probably will. We were thinking about having it at the Stoney creek inn. They have a nice pool and i have heard some really great things about it. Or maybe a pottery party...wish ceramic celebrations was here!! or maybe just invite 3 friends and take them to get pizza and pedicures. I thought that would be fun.

Holly is getting better at the crawling thing. She was all over the place this morning. Alan really entertains her. He is always all over the place throwing or kicking a ball. She is fascinated with him.

Rick and I are going to see Seinfeld this weekend. I am really excited i think he is pretty funny. Not sure what i am going to wear yet...thats always the hardest part!! I asked Rick last night what he was gonna wear and he just looked at me like i was a nut case. oh well. Ok that is all for today....have a good one!!!

A Short Christmas

We had a really nice Christmas with Ricks side of the family. The kids always have tons of fun playing with Lauren. As usual the kids all got great stuff and they have been wearing their new mammoth crocs everywhere!!!
